Answer
·  What are the standard dimensions for banners?

The most common size for banners is 468x60. This represents the dimensions in pixels. These banners are the banners most commonly seen at the top of the page that are 6.5" wide. Other common dimensions include 120x60, 125x125, 234x60, 88x31. Skyscraper banners, which are the tall thin ones (hence the name) at the side of the page are becoming more and more common, too. Their dimensions are most commonly 120x600 or 160x600. The IAB offers a list of conventional banners sizes. We are happy to accommodate whatever banner size that you require.

·  What is AIDA?

AIDA stands for Attention, Interest, Desire and Action - a standard term in the ad-biz. AIDA is the biggest issue in the advertising industry. We assess this with every one of our banners with an eye to maximum results.

·  Are there other requirements on animated banners?

Each Banner Exchange/Portal has different requirements in terms of dimensions, file sizes, animation loops, etc. When you order, you may specify where you will be using the banner(s), and any specific restrictions unique to that exchange. Otherwise, we will follow the generally accepted industry wide guidelines.

·  What is CTR?

CTR stands for Click Through Ratio - this is the percent of clicks compared to the number of banner views. Achieving a high CTR is often the main goal of an advertiser, particularly when he/she is advertising by paying for a set amount of banner exposures.

·  What is CPC?

CPC stands for Cost Per Click. This figure allows the calculation of the cost to bring a visitor to your site, and is related to your CTR when buying banner views/exposures.

·  Do you build the link right into the banner?

For animated .gif or static banners, the link is added to the HTML of the page where your banner is located, using exactly the same code as you would to link any other picture. If you are unsure of how to do this, please consult with your webmaster.

·  What is your standard turnaround time to design a banner?

Banner design turnaround time is generally 3 - 5 days. We work on a first come, first served basis. We will do our best to accommodate rush orders, but in times of particularly heavy workloads, an additional fee may be required.
